The hotel is lovely and very central. The food was good and there was a good choice. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I asked for a room change as I was facing a fire escape . I was given another room and changed over quickly and without any bother. I didnt like the mattress but that's a personal choice. The room was lovely and a really good size. The shower room was large too and beautifully equipped.

The room was large an spacious but the bathroom had a disgusting smell of sewerage each morning we did complain but it made no difference. The food was very average and tasteless. We paid for breakfast and dinner but only had each twice out of the 4 days as we prefer quality which you can get much cheaper and tastier in the town

Stayed here 24/12 - 27/12 ... have stayed here before and will return, excellent location easy access for beach and town centre ,Rooms very clean and comfortable, all staff friendly and welcoming, we stayed on b/b the breakfast was really good with large selection, the gala dinner was excellent, waiting staff worked so hard..well done...

Stayed here again with friends for a special Birthday, we love this hotel, I noticed some people say its dated, but that adds to the charm, I hate all new hotels, stuffy with no personality. The staff are amazing, so warm happy and friendly, even when you get in lift and meet the cleaners or odd job man, always sa hi. When we went to eat, we were always greeted by Jose and he remembered your name always smiling. Then theirs lovely Angela on reception who is a credit to the Fenix, always helpful and dedicated to her job with her positive attitude, we just love her for sorting out any issues we had.which where very little. Hope the manager passes our appreciation on. The rooms cleaned every day, the food amazing and spoilt for choice and very fresh. the hotel is so close to the beach and the lift that takes you down to the beach as well. So close to shops bars Gay quarter and the main train station.next door to hotel fabulous little cafe/ restaurant Bhudda bar, their pancakes so big and delicious, got photos but not very clear. Thank you Fenix for an amazing stay, we will return and please thank Angela and Jose from us all. See you next year xxx

Another excellent stay here. Arrived and check in really quick, free voucher to get a glass of cava, really good. Room - 311 pool and sea view wow!! Fantastic, thank you. Room had everything you needed, fridge, free save bathroom with shower very good powerful. Toiletries for you to use so you don’t really need to take your own if going for quick travel. We stayed 4 nights. Room cleaned daily, excellent service. All staff friendly and helpful. Stayed Half board. Breakfast in my opinion very good, on occasions could be a little warmer but so much to choose from and wit cava lol. Evening meal - good choice, plenty to choose from. Location is excellent Pool area looks great and very clean. Pool is heated we stayed late October during the horrible storms but still managed to get in pool. Would highly recommend. Will now only stay here if we stay in torremolinos it’s that good. Shop next door will open bottles of wine if you like a tipple on the balcony before or after your night out. Lift to ground level of beach area is also a plus.
